Ah, Tinder, the speed dating of the 21st century. You don’t have to dress up to make connections and can swipe through while watching Netflix on your couch. The fierce online dating competition, however, has people creating the funniest profiles, constantly trying to outdo each other. But they’re no match for Jake, a guy who has created over 60 of Tinder profiles. Haha, get it? No match? Ok, nevermind, let’s continue.

“I’ve tried to take Tinder dating seriously but I’ve never found it great for people looking to to take dating very seriously,” Jake told Bored Panda. “I also have been on some very… interesting dates. For example, I met a preacher’s daughter who, on the first date, said she wanted to “bang more dudes and then get back with her ex.”

But Jake enjoys making people laugh and the dating app seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. “I was looking for a girl that had a sense of humor (I’m a lot to put up with).”

Tinder, however, was having none of it and banned this funny guy from the app without any explanation. This small misstep, however, hasn’t discouraged him and he plans to continue his quest elsewhere with even more dating profiles.

“I want to try making similar profiles for other apps. It would be hilarious to make them for something like Christian Mingle or Farmers Only.”

“I would also like to add that, in my opinion, people should to stop taking life so seriously. Everyone likes to laugh. If you fail with a joke, just make a new one. Go on as many dates as possible, because the worst case is you have a great story to tell after.”
