I looked at a house today that had this weird pool (??) in the basement. There’s no longer a drain- it was sealed off when a radon mitigation system was installed. The house was built in the 1920’s. What would you do with this, besides completely pretend that it doesn’t exist, which is option #1.

(Also if anyone has any idea what it might have been used for I’d love to know!)
