It has become fashionable to hate on influencers, and people are seemingly calling them out at every opportunity. From distasteful antics at Chernobyl to swimming in pools of toxic chemical waste, these symptoms of a narcissistic generation do seem to go out of their way to advertise their stupidity – it appears that there is little they won’t do for a few likes on Instagram.
Society has a way of reigning in bad behavior, however, and the current trend of ‘shaming’ those influencers who go too far seems to be having an effect. Bored Panda has collected a list of times when people decided that enough was enough, and set the limit as to how low the bar of self-obsession can go.
