Have you ever had the Sunday Scaries? It’s that sense of dread that starts creeping in, unsuspected, over a weekend when you know you’ll eventually need to go back into the office again.

This was a very familiar feeling to me as an attorney at a law firm that, coupled with a dark sense of humor, I needed a creative outlet for. That’s what led to the creation of these comics, featuring stressed-out stick figures with odd head shapes, which are reflections of many of my actual experiences as a lawyer.

I hope these comics serve as a form of therapy–like, a much quieter version of listening to death metal after a demanding day—for other attorneys, working professionals, or anyone who needs a break from the daily grind.
