Alisha Lehmann sparked rumors of undergoing cosmetic procedures after revealing a stunning new look at the Women’s Euros 2025.
The Swiss striker, who has been labeled the “world’s prettiest footballer,” appeared at the tournament with noticeably plumper lips and a fuller, smoother face.
In addition to playing for Italy’s Juventus and the Swiss national team, Alisha has built a strong social media presence, boasting over 16.7 million Instagram followers and landing brand deals with swimwear company Tezenis and Logan Paul’s Prime hydration drink.
Switzerland lost 2-1 to Norway in their opening Euros match but later beat Iceland 2-0, keeping the team’s hopes of a place in the knockout stage alive.

Photos of Alisha—both in action on the pitch and in Swiss team photoshoots—ignited a wave of online comments, ranging from praise to criticism over her alleged physical transformation.
One user wrote: “Alisha Lehmann is another example of how plastic surgeries and makeup make women look worse.”
Suggesting the athlete had “layers and layers” of makeup and had undergone cosmetic procedures, another person shared: “Why would you do that to yourself? She was actually attractive.”

A separate netizen lamented the transformation, writing, “Surreal. She was absolutely stunning and, worse still, has youth on her side. There was no reason for it.”
Others defended the 26-year-old’s decision to alter her appearance as she pleased, with one user sharing, “All the misogynists showing themselves in the comments… how tragic.”
“This woman is so stunning,” one person commented, while another fan declared, “Girl crush FOREVER.”

Alisha and the Swiss team recently made headlines after losing 7-1 to Luzern’s under-15 side in a friendly match.
The purpose of the game was to give the teenage footballers a chance to play against more experienced national athletes.

Alisha began her career at age nine, playing for Switzerland’s FC Konolfingen. In 2018, she made her debut in the FA Women’s Super League, the top division of English women’s football. She has played for West Ham United, Everton, and Aston Villa.
Last year, she moved to Italy and joined Juventus Women on a contract that runs until 2027.

Reacting to her call-up to the Euros, Alisha wrote on Instagram: “I couldn’t be happier to represent my country at the Euros. I’m so grateful for the opportunity. Let’s make Switzerland proud and show how football is growing.”
She added: “Every little girl and boy dreams of being able to play at a European Championship on home soil. It’s a great honor that we’re now lucky enough to have this. I’m incredibly excited.”

Earlier this year, the footballer surprised fans by modeling for the Valentine’s Day collection of Tezenis Underwear.
The striker said she felt “confident” in front of the camera and opened up about her modeling work.
“I wouldn’t say that working as a model was on my bucket list (laughs). But it is certainly cool and it is definitely a change,” she told Swiss outlet 20 Minutes.

“I always feel confident in front of the camera. That’s why I really enjoy modeling. And when you work with different people, you can always learn something.
“I wouldn’t say that I’m a model, I’m a footballer. I received an inquiry and then the Valentine’s collection was created. We really had a very good collaboration and a great shoot.”

Amid the harsh criticism of Alisha’s modeling work and social media presence, her mother, Sarah Guggisberg, defended the athlete against those who question her achievements.
“She became famous for her footballing achievements, not her makeup,” Sarah stated on Instagram.
“She wears makeup, right? She’s been playing in the top flight for years. It’s not like she just wears makeup.
“You don’t know her at all, and you don’t know what a wonderful person she is.”

In 2023, Alisha discussed the prejudice female footballers face for playing a sport traditionally associated with men. “A lot of times people say, ‘Women can’t play football, they should be in the kitchen,’” she told Sky Sports.
“But those people haven’t watched a single football game. That’s the problem, because when they come to the games and watch us, they go, ‘You actually can play.’”
Switzerland’s Euros future rests in their own hands, needing only a draw against Finland on Thursday (July 10) to clinch second place in Group A.
