The Coldplay “kiss cam” scandal has taken down its second victim.
Days after Andy Byron stepped down from his role as Astronomer CEO, the company shared an update about their HR executive, Kristin Cabot.
The news about Kristin came amid revelations of “marriage troubles” between her and her wealthy Boston heir husband Andrew Cabot.

In the wake of Andy and Kristin’s viral PDA footage, the NY-based software company Astronomer confirmed that the HR executive had handed in her resignation.
“Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer — she’s resigned,” the company said on Thursday, July 24.
Sources also claimed there was trouble in paradise with her husband Andrew, who was away on a work trip when Kristin was caught canoodling with her company’s CEO.

Kristin and Andy’s workplace romance was busted when they attended a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on July 16.
The front-row lovers couldn’t keep their hands off each other and were caught smooching before they appeared on the “kiss cam.”
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” lead singer Chris Martin said when they awkwardly tried to hide their faces.

The touchy concertgoers laid low until Kristin was spotted looking somber in her garden on Wednesday, July 23.
While watering her garden, an unidentified man had stepped out of a car with Kristin’s son from her previous marriage.
She then reportedly spoke to the man in her driveway.

Andrew, Kristin’s thrice-married husband, was reportedly away in Japan for a work trip when the alleged office fling was exposed at the concert.
He was “in Asia for a few weeks and returned on Saturday, so he was gone while all this went down,” a source told the New York Post. “Poor guy.”

Before the controversy, Kristin and Andrew were talking about “how in love” they were. However, their tone changed after the HR executive became a co-star in the Coldplay concert saga.
Kristin noticeably wasn’t wearing her wedding ring at the Coldplay show, according to reports. She was seen wearing the wedding ring in previous photos on social media.
“The family is now saying they have been having marriage troubles for several months and were discussing separating, which I find interesting since, as of a month ago, they were saying how in love they are,” the insider told the outlet.

Kristin was reportedly not wearing her wedding ring when she was spotted at her $2.2 million home on Wednesday.
There were new “no trespassing” signs that had popped up on the driveway of the property in Rye, New Hampshire.
She and Andrew bought the two-story, four-bedroom home in February, just months before the scandal unfolded.

Reports said the couple took out a $1.6 million mortgage with Morgan Stanley to buy the New Hampshire home. They also had plans of renovating the “fixer-upper” property, sitting on 1.42 acres of land.
Kristin, whose maiden name is Stanek, first tied the knot in 2007 to Ken Thornby.
They welcomed two children before she filed for divorce in 2018. The divorce was finalized in 2020.

Andrew, an heir to the $15.4 billion Cabot family fortune, has been married at least thrice before, according to reports.
He exchanged wedding vows with first wife Maud in 1993 and shares two children with her.
They separated in 2011 and jointly filed for divorce in 2013.

Andrew married his second wife, Julie, in 2014 and filed for divorce in 2018.
He is a sixth-generation heir of the Cabot family—one of the oldest and wealthiest families in Boston.
The Cabots belong to the clan of “Boston Brahmins,” which refers to a class of wealthy, educated, elite members that held a prestigious place in Boston society in the 19th century.

The Cabot family legacy is so popular in Boston that it made its way into a local poem.
“And this is good old Boston/ The home of the bean and the cod/ Where the Lowells talk only to Cabots/ And the Cabots talk only to God,” reads the poem.
Andrew runs the Massachusetts-based spirits company Privateer Rum and serves as the CEO and COO.

Andy, on the other hand, is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron and shares two children with her.
Megan fled their $1.4 million home in Northborough, Massachusetts, and has been holed up in their $2.4 million Maine mansion amid the crisis, sources claimed to the Daily Mail.

“The family does not want to talk about it,” said one person living in their neighborhood.

Andy resigned from his role as Astronomer CEO immediately after his video went viral.
The company said the recent events did not reflect the “standard” that leaders are expected to maintain.
“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,” the company said in its statement while announcing Andy’s resignation.
“You can tell she’s in a sad state,” one commented online after Kristin’s recent appearance
