After months of speculation, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have officially revealed the name of their baby daughter—for real this time.
Born in March, the couple’s daughter remained unnamed to the public for months, with followers repeatedly asking the pair on social media for an update.
That changed yesterday (June 17), when Kelly, real name Colson Baker, revealed the name in an Instagram video.

“Saga Blade Fox-Baker. Thank you for the ultimate gift Megan Fox.”
The caption was shown on a video where Kelly is playing music for his daughter, positioned just out of frame in a rocking chair.

The name “Blade,” nestled between the poetic “Saga” and the double-barreled last name, is more than just a stylistic choice.
Long-time followers of the couple quickly pointed out that the name traces back to an offhand moment during a 2021 GQ interview—one that, at the time, seemed like harmless banter.

During the playful exchange, Fox teased Baker for not having a middle name and gave a list of suggestions: “Blade? Sword, Katana, Chaos, Hectic, Violence, Rebel,” she said. Baker interrupted after hearing “Blade,” insisting that it would be his pick.
Now, fans are realizing that the middle name he once jokingly wished for himself is the same he gave to his daughter.
“This is a super cool full circle moment,” a fan wrote. “MGK & Megan Fox just revealed their baby’s name, and they’ve BEEN hinting at it since 2021!”

The announcement comes after a rollercoaster period for both the couple and their fans. Fox and Kelly teased the idea of them having a baby together, leaving misleading breadcrumbs throughout 2024.

As Bored Panda previously reported in July 2024, the artist debuted his music video for Lonely Road, which prominently featured Fox with a baby bump and the two subsequently playing with a baby girl, leading many to believe she was expecting.

Kelly deliberately ended the video with the message: “Introducing: Baby Violet Leika,” sending their fans into a frenzy as they believed the couple had finally confirmed the pregnancy.

Instead, the child in the video was later confirmed to be a baby actress named Violet Cejka, and not their real daughter.
“That’s my daughter Violet!” the actual mother of the featured baby wrote on Instagram, confirming the bump Megan Fox sported was prosthetic all along.

Then, in November 2024, Fox stunned fans with a more direct post—an artistic photo of herself, naked and covered in black paint, cradling a real pregnant belly.
“Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” she wrote. The actress also included a photo of a positive pregnancy test, confirming for the first time that she and Baker were expecting again.

Assuming Megan Fox carried the pregnancy to full term, the baby was conceived approximately in June 2024, which means Kelly’s Lonely Road was, as some speculated at the time, far from a misleading attempt at tugging his fans’ heartstrings, but an artistic depiction of what was to come for both him and Fox.

Baby Saga’s arrival comes after a difficult period for the couple. Fox had reportedly experienced a miscarriage in 2023, a fact that Kelly referenced in his song Don’t Let Me Go.
