LeAnn Rimes was completely betrayed onstage by her very own teeth.
While performing at The Skagit Casino Resort in Washington, the 42-year-old singer had a fiasco that forced her to walk off stage. But what she did after that was what truly surprised fans.
“I was at this performance. She was an absolute trooper,” a fan said online.

The country-pop sensation, who won a Grammy award at the age of 14, sat down for an Instagram video and told her audience about the unexpected turn of events during the June 20 incident.
“We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on,” she said in her video. “And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.”

The singer revealed that she was onstage in the middle of performing her song One Way Ticket when her dental bridge fell out.
“I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night,” she said.

The How Do I Live singer initially “panicked” and said, “hold on” before disappearing from stage.
She then put her teeth back in place and came right back out to continue performing.
“Then I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage,” she said. “And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this, pushing my teeth in.”

As she gracefully laughed the incident off, she said her teeth “completely fell in [her] mouth” during her performance of Can’t Fight the Moonlight.
Calling the incident “the most epic experience ever,” she added, “I don’t usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last.”

“The show can go on, even in the midst of sheer, utter embarrassment. You just gotta be real with people,” she said before signing off.
Fans praised the I Need You singer for keeping it “real” with her audience despite the distress.
“How wonderful you are able to find some humor in a very difficult dental mishap,” one wrote.

LeAnn once had her jaw pop out after belting her hits in a 2014 show in Oklahoma.
She experienced TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction), which can cause pain in the jaw joint and muscles that control the jaw movement.
The Insensitive singer later shared a tweet to apologize to her fans for not giving them an “encore.”
“Oklahoma!!!! I love you so much! I’m sorry for no encore. I had my jaw pop out of place & I can’t hear out of my left ear. #tmjsucks,” she said.
She also replied to a fan at the time and said she has had TMJ since she was 16.

The country crooner even sued her dentist in 2013 for “negligent” treatment, which she claimed led to “severe tooth pain, gum inflammation and chronic gum bleeding.”
She alleged that his poor dental work stalled her career and affected her earnings.
“I’ve been living in a dental nightmare for 10 months. I’m getting back on track though, I hope. I’ve had too many detours this year due to dental issues,” she wrote in an October 2012 blog post.
She reportedly dropped the lawsuit in April 2013.
“Some dentist is gonna be in trouble,” one joked online, while another said, “I have a new found respect for her”
