A man went to a religious master allegedly capable of moving mountains asking for demonstration. The master sat in front of a mountain for a moment, then he went to the other side of it and ended the demonstration, saying: “There has never been a way of moving mountains; you can only go to the mountains if it doesn’t come.”
One of my friends was bent on being a painter. He resigned from office and devoted himself entirely to painting. He, however, saw no progress in this regard.
He soon realized he should take up business again. He became rich businessman while spending spare time swapping experience and skills in painting and calligraphy. His work finally won acclaim among experts and sold in art galleries, His collection were published and his dream of becoming a painter came true at last.
Everybody sets up a plan for his life and a target to struggle for. If the target is wrongly set, an adjustment us made. If one is confronted with something unchangeable, one has to change oneself, and then can achieve a change in the world.
