If you ask a horror movie fan what makes a scary movie great, they would probably name acting as one of the most important aspects. It’s hard to imagine anyone enjoying a movie with actors who don’t embody their characters well. It’s probably safe to say that the makers of the box office hit It remake, have made an excellent choice in casting the Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård as the scary clown Pennywise. His role in the horror film has received many well-deserved praises. Not only did Skarsgård demonstrate his excellent acting abilities, but he also showed how his unique features contributed to the character amazingly well.

Its sequel Chapter Two premiered last month and became an instant hit by scoring $155 million at the domestic box office in under two weeks. This time, the movie introduced a set of new actors such as Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean who played the all-grown-up kids from the previous movie.

Last year, the photos from the set of It: Chapter Two went viral for further proving why fans love the movie so much. Actors Bill Hader and Bill Skarsgård were caught on the set talking, both in their costumes ready to shoot, when suddenly Hader runs away with a look of terror on his face.

As it turns out, he had no idea that Skarsgård has an ability to cross his eyes on demand, and the weird look we all saw on the film is real instead of being made with the help of CGI. The unique Skarsgård feature came to use while shooting the movie, as initially, the creators intended to use special effects. This ability seriously scared Hader and probably many of those who watched the film.
