We all have our own ways of coping with the pandemic. Some of us are becoming fitness fanatics, others are turning to frozen pizza, and Alison Wong is creating comics. Of course, if you know Alison, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. She has been drawing cartoons since she was a child, and even drew for her high school and college newspapers. And since she has become a product designer, she also draws storyboards for her work too.
Alison’s strips are about her life experiences, so they always change. “I’ve been mainly drawing about family life for the last five years, but am currently [focusing on] the pandemic because I think it’s so needed right now,” the artist told Bored Panda, adding that the comics have been well-received and she has been encouraged to keep the public service up.
