Hi, I’m Tang Yau Hoong, an illustrator and artist. Life is a wonderful journey and I believe it is all about perspective. If we change the way we look at things the things we look at could change.

I hope you enjoy these random ideas amidst the mundane and challenging days in life. When we are born, we are intensely curious about the world around us. Let’s keep the curiosity in our hearts alive and look beyond what we see!

I started my career as an illustrator back in 2007 but my illustration style is completely different from my comics. Apart from my personal projects, they are mainly for commercial projects ranging from editorial to advertising, branding, marketing, and book cover art. Throughout my illustrator career, I have explored different illustration styles and gradually settled on a combination of surreal, minimalist and conceptual approaches.

The illustration is still my favorite form of art and I haven’t really tried other forms but look forward to it in the future. Fine art painting would be one of the art forms that appeal to me. As for comics, I am still trying to explore different styles from time to time.
